A beatiful rich and complex black tea. Grown at an elevation of 750m above Sun Moon Lake, in Nantou County, Taiwan, and harvested by hand in July

This tea is likely to be unlike any other black tea you have experienced before. It has a beatiful sweet aroma with tasting notes of frangipane, toffee, marzipan, caremalised sugar, malt and spices. Unlike many black teas it will aslo deliver multiple infusions, and is well suited to be being brewed either in the traditional gong fu or western style.

Western style:

Measure 1 tablespoon (3-4g) per cup (180-220ml), add near boiling water, infuse for 3 minutes.

Three Infusions.

Traditional Style:

Measure 5-6g per cup (100ml), infuse in near boiling water for 10 seconds, gradually increasing the time by approximatey 5 seconds on each subsequent infusion.

Made this way the tea can be brewed for at least five infusions.

Exceptional black tea

One of the finest black teas I have ever tried. The flavour is just incredible. So very different to the Indian and Sri Lankan teas that I'm more used to.
