This is a vintage tea bowl of Japanese Seto Ware, made by the 1st class potter, Takashi Kato aproximately 40-50 years ago.
Takashi Kato was accepted at Nitten Exhibition 5 times, and won many famous art prizes.
The signature of the potter is carved on the bottom.
The original wooden box with the signature of the potter & his profile (in Japanese) are also included.

NB there is a small blemish to the rim which is under the glaze and part of the bowls original condition.
